2. Audible effect landmines - will produce a sound when triggered

Visual effect landmines are loaded with baby powder, corn meal, or other similar substance. Some will release colored smoke, liquid (colored water), or paint. Audible effect landmines are usually will also produce a visual effect. These will be more expensive than visual effect airsoft landmines.

Landmines are triggered by pressure or can be triggered by a trip wire. An airsoft landmine that is triggered remotely can be used as a distraction device.

Some fields allow airsoft landmines and some do not, so it will be important to check with the field rules and regulations of the field you will be playing on before bringing landmines. Mostly landmines are used in simulation games. Outdoor fields, especially those in the woods, are good places to use airsoft landmines because there are many places to cover and camouflage them. Airsoft landmines help make military training more realistic and are used in a variety of environments.

Airsoft Landmine Purchasing

There are some landmines that you can make yourself, but most people choose to buy them. Buying in bulk will reduce the cost of each one. Some of them come in packages to save even more and make the airsoft landmines more affordable. Before purchasing, determine the cost of using operating them, how they are reset, and if the landmines are reusable. These are some of the airsoft landmines that are available:

Airsoft Landmine Safety

When using airsoft landmines, all players should be aware that landmines are being used. The directions on the landmine should be followed to reduce risks of injury. When concealing a landmine, avoid using stones, large sticks, or anything that is sharp that can cause injury to airsoft gun players. Everyone who is in the vicinity of the landmine should be wearing safety goggles and other safety gear to reduce the risk of injury.
