Airsoft Cheating

Have you ever be in an airsoft game with another player cheating? We all know a cheating player can ruin the excitement of the game, causing you to be discourage and wanting to quite. We wrote this article on airsoft cheating to help you be able to prevent these cheating players from get away with it and influencing your game experience.

The number one way of cheating is, “Not voluntarily recognize being hit by the opponent when the hit was felt.” Of course there are situations were the player isn’t cheating and actual didn’t feel the hit of the pellet. The pellet might of hit an unnoticed or covered area of the body for example a thick pocket, a part of the shoe, or the airsoft gun.

Now comes the fun part, identifying an airsoft cheater after shooting them. The following are the steps you should follow after shooting your opponent and realizing they aren’t voluntarily removing themselves from the game.

1. Yell, “Your Hit”
2. If that doesn’t work, signal with your hands a time-out. Then notify your opponent, telling them that they were hit. Remember to specify the area where your opponent was hit.
3. Check if there is a witness, who noticed the hit.
4. When your opponent disagrees, do not be shy to call over a referee and pled your case. Explain in detail and have the witness - if there is a witness - explain the situation too.
5. Most of the time, the referee will test how dedicated you are in proving the hit. If you are positive about the hit, the referee will usually consider it a hit and have the player sit out that game.

In most situations after yelling, “YOUR HIT.” honest airsoft players will remove themselves from that game. That doesn’t mean just because an opposing player is arguing about the hit that they are trying to cheat. They can truly believe that the hit never happened and think your trying to cheat by claiming a hit.

This brings us to another way of cheating in airsoft games, which is when a player yells, “Your Hit.” And knows that he or she never actually hit you. If they are a strong airsoft cheater they will follow the above steps. If you are positive that you were never hit, strongly pled your case to the referee explaining faults in the cheaters claim that you were hit.

Airsoft games are meant to be a fun and exciting. When players begin cheating, it can really put a damper on the game. If you ever thought of cheating or know someone that does. Remember cheating airsoft players just ruin the game and makes it not fun for everyone. Cheating doesn’t take talent but being an excellent player does. You never want to be an untalented and disliked airsoft player so if cheating ever crosses your mind just remember cheating doesn’t improve your game at all.
