The Alamo is a game that reenacts the battle between Mexico and the Texans. They were fighting for freedom for Texas. The Alamo battle lasted from February 23, 1836 to March 6, 1836. The action occurred in San Antonio Texas. The entire Texan garrison consisted of less than 200 men that died at the hands of the Mexican forces led by Santa Anna. His men numbered in the thousands. Some of the more famous Americans that fought include at the Alamo include Davey Crockett and Jim Bowie. The Americans agreed to fight to the death rather than surrender. There were conflicting reports if Davey Crockett died at the Alamo or not. Even with such a defeat, it inspired others to join the cause and two months later, the Texans would win the Battle of San Jacinto.
